VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Construction Volunteer, you may:

Mix cement and prepare building materials

Lay bricks under supervision

Participate in planning discussions with local teams
All tasks are adapted to your experience level. Skilled volunteers may take on more technical responsibilities, while beginners support basic activities under guidance.

PROJECT LOCATION
Projects are based in Rwanda’s welcoming communities, often near Kigali or in selected rural districts. Rwanda is widely recognized as one of the safest countries in Africa, with clean cities, organized infrastructure, and friendly locals. Volunteers have opportunities to explore Rwanda’s breathtaking landscapes during weekends.

ACCOMMODATION & MEALS
Volunteers stay in shared houses or with carefully selected host families. Accommodation is safe, comfortable, and located within reasonable distance of project sites. Meals typically include local Rwandan cuisine such as rice, beans, vegetables, plantains, and occasional meat dishes. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
