UGANDA: Teaching Volunteer Project

The Uganda Community Teaching Volunteer Project offers volunteers the opportunity to support education and skills development within a vibrant community learning centre in Mukono District, Uganda.

Unlike traditional classroom teaching placements, this project focuses on practical education, after-school learning, holiday programs, digital literacy, language instruction, and community learning activities for both children and adults.

The community centre was developed through the support of local partners, Go Volunteer Africa, and international volunteers who continue to contribute towards educational opportunities for vulnerable children, youth, women, and families.

Volunteers help create engaging learning experiences that build confidence, improve literacy, strengthen communication skills, and expand access to technology and lifelong learning opportunities.
