Our development partner in Uganda runs a micro-finance project in rural and semi-urban areas of Uganda. Go Volunteer Africa is looking for Micro-finance support volunteers to work alongside local teams to improve this project. The microfinance project in Uganda provides small financial loans to individuals and small groups of women and youth who are not be able to access loans from a traditional bank. Micro-finance support volunteers can assist the project by reviewing loan application forms. They also aid in completing the daily ledger, conducting business review interviews with those who interested in loans, updating the beneficiary profiles and visiting the beneficiaries to monitor their growth.
