Go Volunteer Africa enables people from around the world to share their skills and expertise with needy communities of Senegal. We facilitate volunteer placements for individual solo travelers and groups, for a minimum of two weeks and we can secure the placement within two days of receiving your inquiry. We offer volunteer programs that will either utilize skills you hold already or give opportunity to learn new skills.

No qualifications necessary, other than the ability to speak English or French. Minimum age to volunteer independently is 18 years old for Senegal community development volunteering. We also encourage families to volunteer, where the minimum age for children volunteering is six years old. We also accommodate both large and small groups in Senegal.

Availability: Project open all year round
Duration: Minimum 1 week commitment
Age Limits: Minimum 18yrs or older for solo travelers.
Minimum Age: 6 to 17 yrs if traveling with parent/guardian

Arrival dates: One day before the start date
Airport Arrival: Airport pickup, meet and greet by GVA partner representative
Working Days: Monday – Friday – 5 days a week, 5-8 hours in a day
Weekends: Travel / Sightseeing NOT included in program cost
Accommodation: Host Families or volunteer house
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
Support: Pre-departure guide, In-country staff available 24/7
