Go Volunteer Africa is looking for volunteers wish to get involved in our Malawi Summer Volunteer Program. The volunteers who will get involved in our Malawi summer volunteer projects will have the chance to interact directly with the community by preparing and coordinating workshops and activities with our local counterpart organizations.
As a participant in our Malawi summer volunteer program, you will have the opportunity to try different roles and projects, dependent on your interests and skills. Go Volunteer Africa’s Malawi summer volunteer opportunities does not require specialized skills (although these would be an advantage), and we accept volunteers for both short and long-term placements.
On first arrival, most volunteers sample all the projects before selecting the tasks that suit them best. The first few days of your Malawi summer volunteer program will be orientation and adjusting to Malawian life. After this initial period, your placement work will begin. The type of work you are involved with will be dependent on your interests, abilities, level of experience as well as your comfort levels.
MALAWI SUMMER VOLUNTEER PROJECTS
Volunteers will be connected and fully placed in Go Volunteer Africa’s Orphanage and Childcare, Outreach Programs, Building and Construction projects, Environment Conservation, Administrative tasks, women empowerment projects, Youth empowerment projects, Micro-finance projects, Teaching placements, Healthcare and medical service and Sports and games, music, dance and drama projects across Malawi.
