PROGRAM DETAILS:

This Malawi Spring Break Volunteering trip will allow you to discover one of the most beautiful but poverty stricken country in Africa. This is a great opportunity to explore life in Malawi, live and work among-st the locals and realize one person can make a difference while volunteering.

During your time spring break vacation in Malawi, you will have the opportunity to try different roles and projects, dependent on your interests and skills. These volunteer opportunities in Malawi do not require specialized skills (although these would be an advantage), and Go Volunteer Africa accepts volunteers for both short and long-term.

You just have to let us know when you are arriving this spring and we will work out the best volunteer placement for you. The type of volunteer work in Malawi you are involved with will be dependent on your interests, abilities, level of experience as well as your comfort levels.

Go Volunteer Africa provides to people of all ages and backgrounds with opportunities to have an active part in helping develop a local communities in Malawi. PROGRAM HINTS:

Availability: Spring Season
Duration: Minimum 1 week commitment
Age Limits: Minimum 18yrs or older for solo travelers.
Minimum Age: 6 to 17 yrs if traveling with parent/guardian
Dates: Flexible start and end dates
Arrival dates: One day before the start date
Airport Arrival: Airport pickup, meet and greet by GVA partner representative
Working Days: Monday – Friday – 5 days a week, 5-8 hours in a day
Weekends: Travel / Sightseeing NOT included in program cost
Accommodation: Host Families or volunteer house
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
Support: Pre-departure guide, In-country staff available 24/7
