As with all of our trips, our Kenya Winter Break and Beach Volunteer holidays are for anyone interested in not just vacationing, but traveling with a true purpose. Throughout this entire winter break volunteer holidays our goal is to make a positive impact on the people we come across all while getting off the grid and experiencing local culture in Kenya.
Go Volunteer Africa’s favorite thing, is being spontaneous and loving all the unplanned surprises we constantly come across during our travels. Kenya is an amazingly very beautiful and natural country. Go Volunteer Africa is offering that ultimate experience that every traveler looks for in an African adventure.
During your winter break volunteering you will get involved in our sustainable community development projects. Go Volunteer Africa projects provide healthcare, education, youth mentoring, women’s rights education, construction of local schools and small business development. Let us know and we’ll figure out a good placement for your skills and interests during your participation in Kenya.
Volunteer travelers will work alongside locals and your life will change as you sit, talk and hear their stories while feeling the love from each person you help. Between your time volunteering and traveling, you will also experience some of the amazing activities this beautiful country has to offer such as wildlife adventure safaris, culture and historical tourist attractions, and massive beach holiday experience.
During your winter break volunteer placement in Kenya, there are many projects to become involved with. Help to encourage learning among-st children three to five, in one of our Early Child Education centres or work with older children, teaching English or giving life skills training in one of our Children’s Clubs . You might want to work with the women of the community or do something different altogether, retreating to the coast of Indian Ocean and work with our Marine Conservation Projects.
After your volunteer program comes to an end your travelling experience will involve sight-seeing, safari, hiking and lots of water sports.
