Africa Volunteer programs

As the world slowly begins to ease into the ‘’new normal’’ we’re gradually beginning to ease back into running affordable meaningful volunteer programs in Africa, in accordance with health and safety guidelines. This August, we’re excited to announce that we have reopened the possibility to get in our volunteer programs before 2020 ends in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Kenya as well as Malawi.

The destinations above are gradually opening up to tourism and travel. Our volunteer projects are now open to host volunteers and we are excited to have you again to serve with us. Entry requirements to Tanzania, Zanzibar, Rwanda, Kenya and Malawi in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic have been eased.

The majority of foreigners are now permitted to enter and regular flight services have been resumed.

We have been safely hosting volunteers across Africa for over ten years now. We understand that a visit and volunteer service in Africa is a bucket list humanitarian travel item for many and we ensure an experience that doesn’t disappoint.

We work together with trusted local organizations who are running sustainable community development projects, which we support fully through our Africa volunteer programs. We tailor-make all of our volunteer trips and ensure the ultimate meaningful volunteer experience of a lifetime.

You can now choose to arrive anytime from 1st September 2020 to either Rwanda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Malawi or Kenya and get involved in our volunteer work and change the world. Go Volunteer Africa is an award-winning volunteer travel operator. We provide sustainable and ethical volunteer projects, and exciting adventure holidays in Africa.

For those with a specialist interest in COVID-19 response volunteer work, we can arrange volunteer work in the hospitals or community outreaches to sensitize people about the pandemic.
