Botswana Teaching volunteer project
Botswana Teaching volunteer project

Botswana Teaching volunteer project offered by Go Volunteer Africa could be just the way to interact and experience a new culture while helping to improve education in Botswana. Step into classrooms of Botswana and share your knowledge, experience and skills with children in Botswana. As a volunteer in Botswana you will work in the schools and organize various enjoyable and creative activities for the children to sharpen their talents and increase their knowledge.

Botswana teaching volunteer project participants get involved in English teaching, IT teaching, after school programs and Summer camps. You can join for 4 weeks up to 12 weeks and we have volunteer placements in Botswana throughout the year.

IN BRIEF:

  • Teach English, Math and other subjects, organize games and arts
  • Share your love and care with children
  • Share your culture and empower children
  • Paint educative murals
  • Provide support for extracurricular activities

Teaching volunteer projects in Botswana provide a wide range subjects and activities to choose  from, including but not limited to: English, Mathematics in subjects like, Arts and Sports. The teaching volunteers in Botswana work continuously to explore the hidden talents in the children and to promote them. The volunteers might find that they learn as much as from them as the children will learn from the volunteers.

PROJECT DETAILS:

The minimum required time for teaching volunteer projects in Botswana is four weeks and volunteers must participate in this Botswana teaching volunteer program with an open mind, giving heart, and flexibility to work with different age ranges of children.

Your help and assistance will be greatly appreciated in this rural school and will be a refreshing change to existing curriculum. Volunteers can take up projects depending on the needs of the school. Volunteers can do a combination of both teaching and renovation/building work in Botswana. If you’re a native English speaker or with some teaching experience, you can be a valuable resource in the classrooms.

With your English skills you could teach proper English pronunciation and usage. Even if you’ve never formally taught a classroom subject, you can assist the local teachers in their day to day work at the school. You don’t need to know the local language, or the methods of the local school system. All you need is enthusiasm and a desire to share your knowledge and make a difference.

We take care of all the logistical details including airport transfers, accommodation, feeding and all the ground support. Teaching volunteer work with Go Volunteer Africa offers the opportunity to serve the community in need through sharing your knowledge and skills. Learning about the proper use of synonyms starting  at young age is very important

Education is the key to a child’s success in Africa. Education is a priority,  it is one of the most important tools Go Volunteer Africa can give the children of Africa in order to break the cycle of poverty affecting their lives and to help them become independent adults.
