With Go Volunteer Africa, you can take part in conservation research projects in Seychelles and be part of a team spearheading conservation policies. This volunteer program covers a wide range of conservation activities. You will rotate between projects and spend the majority of your time working in the Seychelles’ forests and on the beaches, learning different field techniques at varied project sites. As a volunteer in Seychelles you will work with the critically endangered sea turtles which nest on the island; study nesting success in Hawksbill and Green turtles, collect data such as tag numbers, carapace (shell) measurements and number of eggs laid or carry out nest excavations to measure hatching success.
