Branches of Life International | Volunteer in Uganda
Branches of Life International (BOLI) is a registered non-government organization, which offers a drop-in facility for children and youths aged 4-18 especially the orphaned and vulnerable children who have been on the streets of Uganda.
Go Volunteer Africa‘s volunteer in Uganda program at Branches of Life International is full of opportunities. We invite people of all backgrounds to participate in the endeavor to create a life of dignity for street children, disadvantaged youth and orphaned children in Uganda.
Branches of Life International rehabilitates children who live on the streets and reintegrates them into families and communities as well as mainstream education. Branches of Life International provides basic needs such as food, medical care, education, shelter, and clothing to these children, but most of all, the project equips them with hope.
Go Volunteer Africa with Branches of Life International are dedicated to providing care to children who are orphaned, neglected, abused, underprivileged and vulnerable; while ensuring their physical, emotional, social and spiritual development is nurtured by consistent encouragement instilling within each individual a model of love, safety, purpose, productivity, service to others and trust in God.
Through our volunteer in Uganda program, we are committed to breaking the cycle of poverty, while meeting the emotional, medical, educational and social needs of the children under Branches of Life International’s care.
Branches of Life International believes that all children should have equal rights, irrespective of financial issues or family background. Street children are also children, they are not prostitutes or garbage, they need to be told so, and more so put into it.
Volunteer in Uganda opportunities at Branches of Life International through Go Volunteer Africa include: assisting the staff in counseling and guidance, childcare, sports and recreational activities, teaching and helping with the general running and administration of organization. Volunteers usually help in teaching Basic English, drawing, drama, conducting games etc.
Branches of Life International has a mission to establish community based development projects to foster and promote the welfare of people especially orphans and vulnerable children.

- Capacity building and empowerment projects for vulnerable children.
- Initiation of income generating activities for street children.
- Establishment of a resource and rehabilitation centre for street children.
Volunteer in Uganda opportunities at Branches of Life International organized by Go Volunteer Africa will require the volunteer to be utterly flexible and open-minded and to arrive with a positive attitude and willingness to jump in where needed. Many volunteer openings are combined positions, meaning that you will be asked to fulfill more than one position, depending on your abilities and schedule. All positions require English fluency.
