Description

Beacon of Hope Uganda designs and conducts programs which contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with an emphasis on children and youth.

Beacon of Hope Uganda (BoHU) addresses some of the most pervasive problems in rural Uganda, including HIV/AIDS, malaria, hunger, education, poverty, access to clean drinking water, and orphaned children. In addition, we focus on empowering the youth of Uganda with different skills and leadership training.

Beacon of Hope Uganda has a mission of providing resources to achieve sustainable development in under-resourced areas through effective community education and development of projects.

Go Volunteer Africa offers total culture and full rural life immersion experience at Beacon of Hope Uganda. The days in the villages allow for a variety of opportunities. And whether you work in a clinic, school, or orphanage,  participate in building or agricultural projects, or simply assist in the day-to-day tasks.

Go Volunteer Africa and our partner Beacon of Hope Uganda will work closely with you to ensure comprehensive preparation, including both an understanding of the people with whom you will be working, and all considerations necessary for volunteer travel in Uganda.

Beacon of Hope Uganda designs and conducts programs which contribute to the welfare and social productivity of disadvantaged individuals and communities with an emphasis on children and youth.
